Once all the modules are in place and everything is connected, you need to carefully install the black ribs that were glued to the lid when we removed it. You will get the idea where they go as there are three variations that only fit one way. Make sure to install the rubber insulators at the ends. The bolts holding the lid down go through these ribs and into the case.
The ribs fit in pretty easily when they are loose. You will notice there is one style that has the hole for the through-bolts and a style for the middle rows. There is also a type that fits only in the back.
The rubber isolators fit between the HV lugs.
This is easier to visualize when you look at them upside down after removal while the ribs were still glued to the cover.
Getting these isolators back in place correctly is one reason the butterfly method isn't as much of a time saver for the DIYer. They are very easy to fit when loose and very hard to get into place attached to the lid.
If you broke the seal at the BMS cover, you should seal that back down now. While you have the Right Stuff out, it is also a good time to attach new fuse cover to the penthouse.
As mentioned a few times, this plate can remain sealed in place unless you are working on the contactors.
If the BMS cover wasn't leaking bubbles on the initial pressure test and you didn't disturb the sealant and fasteners during the lid removal, you just need to make sure the mating surface where the main lid bolts down is clean. If you removed it to work on the contactors, glue it down at this point so it is done and set when the main lid goes down. Note - the image to the left hasn't been cleaned and the fasteners were pulled so it will need to be resealed.
